专利说明:

Description The invention relates to a drawbar for trailers.
Drawbars are part of trailers, such as those used in agriculture or forestry. The connection to a towing vehicle takes place via a coupling element fastened to the drawbar, which is designed, for example, as a coupling eye or ball coupling. The coupling devices on towing vehicles are often attached at different heights, so that a height-adjustable coupling element on the drawbar is desirable in order to avoid unnecessary wear or damage to the coupled parts.
From US 3,692,330 a height-adjustable coupling device for trailers is known, in which a coupling element can be fixed at several vertical connection positions of a connection plate.
The invention is based on the object to realize the height-adjustable coupling element even in trailers with a propeller shaft.
According to the invention this object is achieved by the features of claim 1.
The drawbar for trailers according to the invention has a connecting plate and at least one coupling element for coupling the trailer to a towing vehicle, the connecting plate having at least one lower and one upper connecting position for alternative fastening of the coupling element at different heights, and the connecting plate between the lower one and the upper connection position provides a recess for the passage of a cardan shaft.
Due to the inventive design, the coupling element can be attached both below and above the propeller shaft on the connection plate.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, an adapter plate is provided between the connection plate and the coupling element, with which the coupling element is attached to the at least one lower or the at least one upper connection position of the connection plate. The connection plate can have a large number of hole patterns at different heights, the adapter plate having a hole pattern that corresponds to the hole patterns of the connection plate.
Furthermore, the adapter plate can in particular be U-shaped with two side legs, the two side legs having holes for attachment to the connection plate. The adapter plate, with its side that is open due to the U-shaped configuration, can be aligned in the direction of the cardan shaft, so that the recess in the connecting plate is not covered or is hardly covered. The freedom of movement of the cardan shaft is preserved.
So that the cardan shaft has enough space in the recess of the connection plate with a relative movement of the trailer and towing vehicle, the extent of the recess of the connection plate corresponds in the vertical direction at least 3 times the diameter of the drive shaft and in the transverse direction at least twice the diameter of the drive shaft. Furthermore, it can be provided that the mounted adapter plate projects vertically beyond the connection plate.
Further embodiments of the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the following description of an embodiment and the drawing.
In the drawing shows
1 is a schematic side view of a trailer with a drawbar according to the invention,
Fig. 2 is a three-dimensional representation of the drawbar with a coupling element attached in an upper connection position and
Fig. 3 is a three-dimensional representation of the drawbar with a coupling element attached in a lower connection position.
Fig. 1 shows a trailer 1 for forestry operations with a vehicle frame 2, a chassis 3 of a drawbar 4, a loading space 6 formed by stanchions 5 and a loading crane 7. The drawbar 4 is shown enlarged in FIGS. 2 and 3 , In particular, this can be a steering drawbar which is mounted on the vehicle frame 2 so as to be pivotable about a vertical axis.
To stabilize the trailer 1 during the operation of the loading crane 7, two lateral supports are also provided, which, like the loading crane 7, can be operated via a control panel 10. Both the supports 9 and the loading crane 7 are actuated by a hydraulic system, the hydraulic pressure required for this being generated by means of an articulated shaft 11 that can be coupled to a towing vehicle and a hydraulic pump (not shown in more detail).
CH 714 336 A2 At the front end 4a of the drawbar 4, at least one coupling element 12, 13 is provided for coupling the trailer to a towing vehicle. In Fig. 1 both coupling elements are shown, although in practice only one of the two coupling elements will usually be installed.
The drawbar 4 is explained in more detail with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3. At the front end 4a of the drawbar 4, a connection plate 14 is provided, which in the exemplary embodiment shown is rectangular and is formed with a central recess 15 for the drive shaft 11. The drawbar is hollow, so that the cardan shaft 11 runs inside the hollow drawbar 4 and protrudes through the recess 15 at the front end 4a.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, the coupling element 12, which is designed here as a towing eye, has a flange plate 12a with which it is attached to the connection plate 14 at an upper connection position. An adapter plate 16 is provided between the connection plate 14 and the coupling element 12, the coupling element 12 being fastened to the adapter plate 16 by means of screws 17. The adapter plate 16 is U-shaped with two lateral legs 16a, 16b, the two lateral legs 16a, 16b having bores 16c for attachment to the connecting plate 14.
So that the coupling element 12 can be mounted at different heights above the floor on the connection plate 14, the connection plate 14 has a plurality of bores 14a at different heights, which are formed here by two rows of holes on the side. The holes 16c of the adapter plate 16 result in a hole pattern which corresponds to the hole patterns of the connection plate 14 which result from the various holes 14a, so that the adapter plate 16 can be fastened to the connection plate 14 with the coupling element 12 at different height positions. Screws which interact with nuts or with internal threads of the bores 14a of the connection plate 14 are preferably used as the fastening.
So that the propeller shaft 11 has enough freedom of movement in the recess 14 of the connecting plate 14 with any relative movements between the towing vehicle and trailer 1, the connecting plate 14 is significantly wider than the flange plate 12a of the coupling element 12. The width of the coupling element or its flange plate 12a is less than 0.5 times the width of the connection plate. The extent of the recess 15 of the connecting plate 14 corresponds in the vertical direction to at least 3 times the diameter of the cardan shaft and in the transverse direction at least twice the diameter of the cardan shaft 11. In this way, the cardan shaft 11 has sufficient play in the recess in the case of relative movements between the towing vehicle and the trailer 1 15th
In the assembled state of the adapter plate 16, the side of the adapter plate 16 which is open due to the U-shaped configuration is oriented in the direction of the drive shaft 11.
In the illustrated embodiment, the mounted adapter plate 16 is in the vertical direction beyond the connecting plate 14. However, it would also be conceivable to fasten the adapter plate 16 downward by at least one hole on the connection plate 14.
2 above the articulated shaft 11 is attached to the connecting plate 14, the embodiment of FIG. 3 shows an arrangement of the coupling element 13 below the articulated shaft 11. For this purpose, the adapter plate 16 is simply turned over so that the side legs 16a, 16b and thus the open side of the adapter plate 16 point upwards. Otherwise, the coupling element 13 is screwed to the adapter plate 16 with its flange plate 13a. 3, the coupling element 13 can be arranged, for example, at a height above the floor of 400 to 700 mm. 2, the coupling element is at a height of approx. 800 to 1200 mm.
